Donald Frankel
President
Chief Executive Officer
As President and Chief Executive Officer of Predictive Service, Mr. Frankel is responsible for developing the company's overall business strategy, overseeing company operations, and the development of strategic and business relationships.
Mr. Frankel has led Predictive Service to be one of the fastest growing companies in the country. Predictive Service was named to the Inc. 5000 two years in a row in 2007 and 2008 based on triple-digit sales growth, ranking as high as number 22 in the Business Services Category in 2007. Predictive Service has also been recognized as one of Northeast Ohio's fastest growing companies, ranking 15th out of 100 companies on the Weatherhead 100 for 2008.
Mr. Frankel's 18 years of hands-on experience in the electrical and communication industries serve him well in his role as President and CEO of Predictive Service. He was President of Encompass - Cleveland from 1999 through 2001. Prior to this, Mr. Frankel was President and CEO of El-O Electric Company and Executive Vice President of Pro Net Communications Company for 15 years. Don led the sale of both companies to Group Maintenance of America, a publicly traded company with $1.5 billion in annual sales.
A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Mr. Frankel graduated from Ohio State University, where he received a bachelor's degree in marketing with a minor in labor management. Mr. Frankel is also a graduate of the Encompass Leadership Institute, a Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP), a 2007 E&Y Regional Finalist for Entrepreneur of the year and an honoree of 1996-1997 Who's Who in Executives and Professionals.
John Harman
Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Operating Officer, John Harman's diverse business background in banking, financial services, chain retailing and contracting is a true asset for Predictive Servic. Mr. Harman's primary role within Predictive Service is to manage the day-to-day operations and the structure of the organization as we continue to grow our products and services in the predictive maintenance industry.
Mr. Harman's professional career in both large public corporations and small entrepreneurial firms has exposed him to all facets of business. Mr. Harman's previous roles consisted of consultant, financial analyst, controller, chief financial officer, acquisition integration manager, director of operations, and president of a $300-million business unit of a national, publicly traded, facility services company.
Mr. Harman served as Regional President of the Northeast Region for Encompass from 2000 through 2002. This experience in operations of the mechanical and electrical contracting industry has supplemented experiences in integration and control of multi-location, multi-profit center businesses. During his tenure Mr. Harman served in several other roles including acquisition due diligence, operational finance, and operations management. John played an instrumental role in developing systems of operational control during a rapid acquisition cycle from 1997 to 2000 in which the company grew from $350 million to $1.2 billion in sales.
Prior to 1997, Mr. Harman held the position of Chief Financial Officer for Marvin's Building Materials, a $100 million revenue regional home center chain based in Birmingham, AL. While in this position Mr. Harman developed various strategic and tactical plans for areas in finance and information technology. This included implementing inventory and accounting policies, developing enterprise-wide information technology advancements for store automation and workflow management.
Mr. Harman earned a Masters of Business Administration degree from Florida State University with an emphasis in entrepreneurial studies, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Maryland. He also achieved Magna Cum Laude as a graduate of Northern Virginia Community College.
Joe Cobb
Director
Training and Quality Assurance
As Director of training and Quality Assurance for Predictive Service, Mr. Cobb is responsible for the overall selection, training, certification and quality process ensuring efficiencies and productivity with a focus on customer service.
Prior to joining Predictive Service, Mr. Cobb owned and operated Infrared Inspections, Inc. He was responsible for the overall execution of the company's business plan, as well as daily operations. Mr. Cobb grew his business with an emphasis on servicing national hotel chains such as Marriott, Hyatt, Interstate and Sandals Resorts. In addition, Mr. Cobb has performed aerial inspection to include: roofs, water management, pipelines, steam distribution, bridge deck, etc. He has performed infrared services in over 30 states and 8 foreign countries.
Mr. Cobb formally served as Project Manager for Encompass National Services, a $4 billion company. He was responsible for the execution of infrared inspections acquired through the National Accounts division. In addition to this, he established budgets, operational manual/procedures, training, and customer service protocols.
A native of Orlando, Florida, Mr. Cobb graduated from The Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University of Daytona Beach, Florida, where he received a Bachelors of Science degree in Aeronautical Science. He is a qualified commercial Multi-Engine Instrument Pilot. Mr. Cobb currently holds a Level III Certification. Mr. Cobb's qualifications meet or exceed the recommendations of the ASNT, NFPA and Infraspection Institute.
John Pucillo
Director of Product Development
As director of product development for Predictive Service, Mr. Pucillo is responsible for developing Predictive Service's overall product offering strategy, the integration of PdM technologies, and support for sales and marketing activities.
Mr. Pucillo has 23 years of experience in the design, implementation, organization and operations of Conditioned-based Maintenance (CbM) programs, condition monitoring products and service management.
Mr. Pucillo began his professional career by leading the PdM activities for Virginia Power's Chesapeake Energy Center before moving on to hold various positions within IRD Mechanalysis and Entek IRD International. During his time with these PdM vendors, he worked in a consulting service/management capacity to aid clients in developing reliability based maintenance strategies and provided the tools, service/support and training to implement effective programs. Prior to joining Predictive Service, he was responsible for all CbM services with Rockwell Automation, and the Integrated Condition Monitoring business unit.
A native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Mr. Pucillo graduated from The Williamson School of Media, PA where he received an Associates Degree in Electrical Power Technology and is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati, College of Business Administration, Executive Management Program.
Tom Coyne
Director of Sales and Marketing
As Director of Sales and Marketing, Mr. Coyne is responsible for the formation and execution of all sales and marketing strategies. His key priorities are to accelerate the growth of international business and to continue to exceed customer expectations.
Mr. Coyne has 20 years of Sales Leadership experience within Technology, Manufacturing and Distribution companies. His strategic and operational effectiveness was well demonstrated during his tenure with International Data Management (IDMI) as Director of Client Services.
Prior to IDMI, Mr. Coyne managed an international Sales and Distribution network for Thermo-Rite Manufacturing and Star-Fire Distribution, a provider of outdoor living and hearth products. Mr. Coyne’s responsibilities included the development of the Sales Team, Design of all Sales Programs, Marketing Campaigns, Inventory Management and new Product Roll Outs.
Mr. Coyne holds a BS in Psychology from John Carroll University.
Shawn Goertzen
Director of IT
Mr. Goertzen has been working at Predictive Service since 2004 and is currently serving as the Director of IT. His responsibilities include the daily operations of the IT department as well as the development and maintenance of the company's patented, award winning ViewPoint Software. While at Predictive Service Mr. Goertzen has organized and managed a number of domestic and international projects including a development team in Buenos Aires, Argentina and partner offices in both Mexico and Canada.
From 2001-2004, Mr. Goertzen served as a software developer at Axentis, a Cleveland-based start-up company. At Axentis, he focused on projects dedicated to the integration of client data into the company's software as well as process improvement, which positively impacted the company's growth.
From 1999-2001, Mr. Goertzen was a software developer at Applied Innovation where he worked on various telecommunication software projects.
Mr. Goertzen received his B.S. from the University of Toledo in Computer Science Engineering.
